Responsibilities Product Manager for Integrated Solutions will plan, execute, manage, and launch comprehensive cross-company Converged Products. Role requires complex project development and management to include the establishment of the cross-functional team, end to end milestones, dependencies, timelines, reporting and escalations. Product Manager has basic understanding of cross-company products such as: Unified Communications, Fixed Mobile Convergence, Managed Mobility, VzW/VzB equipment/hardware. Product Manager will be responsible for business device requirements for upcoming device launches. This includes cross-functional teaming and management of the device roadmap, launch priorities, documentation of requirements for business, and testing prior to launch.Product Dev/Management – Integrated Solutions • Runs complex projects/products from design and development to production • Defines resources and schedule for product implementation • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals • Plans and schedule project deliverables, goals, milestones • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. • Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning • Efficiently identifies and solves project issues • Designs and maintain technical and project documentation • Demonstrated ability to develop business process models • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and executive presentationsBusiness Device Management • Provide detailed Business requirements to device team • Manage device roadmap for business • Coordinate device launches for business • Provide enterprise application priorities for preload/launchCustomer and Field Engagement • Engage w/ E&G customers for Integrated products input and device requirements feedback • Include requirements based on input from Sales, EDSM and Customers • Coordinate trial customers for both Integrated products and Enterprise devices Qualifications • Education: Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience required • Experience: • 6+ years experience in Marketing/Product Management in wireless or telecommunications • Demonstrated Enterprise product development (minimum 3 years experience) • Demonstrated experience with large projects, spanning internal work groups, vendors, and customers • Project management skills of large cross functional teams. PMP is a plus.(Minimum 2 years experience). Strong knowledge of product/project planning and management concepts, methodologies, tools, standards and procedures • In depth knowledge of Enterprise customers use/requirements of devices and applications • In depth knowledge of the competitive landscape of enterprise devices and associated functionality • Demonstrated Product knowledge for VzW and VzW Integrated products: Unified Communications, Managed Mobility, Hardware (routers, modems, IP-PBX, LMR Gateway) • Thoroughly understands telecommunications/wireless fundamentals, architecture, drivers, and industry players. In depth knowledge of wireless technology (CDMA, GSM) and services. (Minimum 2 years experience) • Must be familiar with Android, Brew, RIM, windows mobile, Symbian • Requirements gathering and writing- technical writing skills required • Strong contract negotiation and vendor management skills • Market segment analysis, statistical data analysis, business case modeling. • Demonstrated experience in business case development and analysis, demonstrates strong financial knowledge and capability utilizing strong analytical and quantitative skills • Has business/industry insight/forward thinker • Results oriented, strong sense of urgency, proactive and flexible • Strong leadership skills, proven success on high impact projects • Excellent communication skills must be able to write well and present in board room meetings. • Must be able to work independently when work is delegated to him/her. • Must realize when to make a critical decision and when to escalate. • Must be organized • PC and desktop applications competency (e.g., Microsoft Office suite of products, e-mail, etc.) • Other: 10 yrs experience in the telecommunications industry preferred Equal Employment Opportunity We are an equal opportunity employer m/f/d/v.
